Without lists, I would go insane.
My life is shifting in every direction — like standing on sandy soil during a rolling 7.0 magnitude earthquake. No knowing when it will stop or which way I’ll be facing when it’s over or if I’ll be swallowed up.
So to quell the panic that comes with the uncertainty, I write down everything I need to do, to consider, to accomplish on bits of scrap paper and sticky notes. Simple task lists to potentially brilliant business plan ideas litter flat surfaces in my home. Every imaginable level of chicken scratch is determined by my sense of urgency and predictable forgetfulness – but somehow, I get things done.
