Holy Crap! Where do I begin???

I’m a Virgo born in 1964 — you do the math.

Slowly got over my ex who, up until a little more than a year ago, lived next door to me and shared a bedroom wall in the same condo complex. Been trying to date via a few online dating sites. I’ve made some serious mistakes along the way but I think I’m just starting to get comfortable with being single.

I travel whenever I get the chance – sold my house once to get out of debt, pay for health insurance and headed to South America. Side note: I was laid off with no job prospect at that point in time. I look at it as a great opportunity NOT missed. And road trips? You betcha! Burning Man is an annual trek in my 1977 VW Bus which I work on myself with the help of PDX’s amazing VW community.

I’m a recycling freak and want to do something, SOMETHING, for the environment.

I try to fix a lots of things to save money and make stuff to keep creative but I have to keep lists everywhere so I don’t forget to do any of those things.

I lost my job in June 2010 – a 22-year career in TV production, poof! to automation!!!!!
But don’t feel bad…I’m changing careers, mid-life, to become a hoopdance instructor. Yes, hoopdance.

My friends love me no matter what…I think I amuse them (wink wink).

Finally, I LOVE my three cats (Vega, Luna & Boo Radley) — lost sweet Meowmers last summer and Scooby Doo is still MIA for almost six years. Fingers crossed!
